PRESENTATION
“Learning from the Past"
Dr. Constantine Tzanos returned from US to Greece in 1977 in the context of an effort of the Greek government at the time to establish a Nuclear Regulatory Service at the Nuclear Research Center Demokritos. After about two frustrating years at Demokritos he returned back to the States. Although this was a discouraging experience, his interest to return back to Greece remained unabated. He will briefly share some of his experiences from his work and subsequent professional interactions in Greece with the objective to derive some lessons that may help initiatives of the Greek government to attract Greek and Diaspora – Greek professionals and entrepreneurs, as well as foreign investors to contribute to the development of Greece.
