Easter greetings from Andrew A. Athens, President of World Council of Hellenes
CHICAGO, April 22 For Hellenes in the Diaspora, the inseparable traditions of Hellenism and Orthodoxy which form one heritage become especially important during the Holy Days of Easter. Our hearts are especially receptive to the message of love and support for our fellow man, even as we become keenly aware of our continuing desire to keep our faith and cultural identity alive. In the multicultural societies where we live, it is our faith that provides us with the strength to be true to ourselves and our roots even as we embrace those of different ethnic backgrounds.

With such feelings of love and respect for our fellow man wherever we may live, I wish all our compatriots a very Happy and Blessed Easter.
