HOW CAN I HELP SAE's Primary Health Care Initiative provides needy Hellenes and their neighbors in the former Soviet Union and Albania with basic health care. Your donation enables SAE to obtain medical equipment, supplies, and services from organizations and individuals for a marginal service fee or no fee at all. Every dollar donated provides, on average, over $20-24 worth of assistance. The following example reflects some of the ways your gift may be used: $1,000 will fund 264 patient visits at a clinic worth $10,744 or purchase a portable ultrasonograph worth $4,500 $500 will fund 132 patient visits at a clinic worth $5,372 or purchase two examination lights worth $1,500 each $250
will fund 1,000 patient visits in a month via a SAE Medical Mobile
Unit Other contributions will be used for general support of the program. |
